Email undeliverable from Hotmail account — Spam IP block (AS130) affecting all outgoing mail for over a week

Hi,

For over a week now, all emails sent from my Hotmail account ([PII REMOVED]@hotmail.com]) are bouncing back with the following error:

554 5.7.501 Service unavailable. Spam abuse detected from IP range. AS(130) Generating server: MI2P293MB0329.ITAP293.PROD.OUTLOOK.COM

This affects all recipients regardless of domain (Gmail, etc.). The issue is clearly on Microsoft's end — the sending IP range has been flagged for spam abuse. I am not able to send a single email from my account.

I have waited over a week hoping it would resolve itself, but nothing has changed. Please escalate this to your network/deliverability team so the affected IP range can be delisted or I can be moved to a clean IP pool.

Could you please look into this urgently?

Best regards, Robin

    Dear Robin Järnhäll

I understand how frustrating this is, especially when every outgoing message from your Hotmail account is bouncing back.

The error: 554 5.7.501 Service unavailable. Spam abuse detected from IP range. AS(130) suggests that the outbound sending route or IP reputation is being blocked by Microsoft’s mail protection systems. Since this is a personal Hotmail/Outlook.com account, this is not something that can be fixed from your Outlook app settings, and the Microsoft Q&A forum does not have backend access to delist IP ranges, move your mailbox to another sending pool, or manually escalate a deliverability case.

I have found a link that lists out the steps that you can kindly try when having trouble sending out emails that you can have a look into it and follow them steps: https://support.microsoft.com/Outlook/sender-support-in-outlook-com

If the same bounce continues from Outlook.com webmail, the best next step is to contact Outlook.com support from inside the affected account:

    • Sign in to Outlook.com
    • Select Help
    • Search for the issue
    • If the self-help steps do not resolve it, choose Still need help? and submit the request

When contacting support, include the full bounce-back message, especially the 554 5.7.501 error, AS(130), and the generating server shown in the NDR.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. Have a good day
