Hi Per3,
Without hardware ID's it is very hard to trace the divers you need, and because no official drivers are available for that device, you will need to find the drivers on a 3rd party website.

Hello!
I am looking for drivers for my IBM Netvista A20 6269 P7G, manufactured in 2000. Operating system Windows 98 FE. It has a Pentium III 800 MHz processor. System board: Intel 810E chipset This processor has MMX technology, which boosts the processing of graphic, video, and audio data. My problem is that there are missing drivers for PCI management bus, PCI multimedia audio device (audio). Found a graphics driver that worked pretty well. Then there is an unknown device also in the device manager. If you look in the device manager, Windows does not recognize either the motherboard or which processor. They are only shown as default devices. How do I find the right drivers?
Best regards,
Per3

Hello!
Thanks for your help!
The driver you suggest only solves the graphics problem. I first tried this but got an error message that the driver is not adapted for my operating system, Windows 98 that is. But I found a suitable driver: win9xe67.exe on userdrives.com:
And it solved the problem with the graphics.
But the problem with PCI management bus and PCI Multimedia audio device and unknown device remains. I have to find drivers for chipset and controllers in order for the operating system to recognize the processor and motherboard. I cannot see the hardware ID in Windows 98. On the PCI multimedia audio device and PCI management bus only: Hardware version 002 and error code 28. On an unknown device: hardware version not available and code 28.
Best regards,
Per3
Hi Per3,
I am Dave, I will help you with this.
Have you tried installing the recommended chipset drivers from the Intel website?
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/downloa...
If that does not resolve the problem, right click that device in Device Manager and select Properties, then select the Details Tab, set the drop-down menu to Hardware ID's, right click the top entry in the list and select Copy, please post that Hardware ID here.
