Why is the minimalism in Windows 11 boring?

Hello, Windows Design Team!

I am writing to share my feedback and recommendations about the Windows 11 design. In my opinion, modern flat minimalism looks too simple, plain, and boring, just like a 1D game. There is absolutely nothing for the eye to catch on.

As a recommendation, I suggest offering Aero or Luna style themes by default, while moving flat minimalism to the very bottom of the theme list. Please consider bringing back the volumetric styles, themes, and variety:

• Windows XP Luna Theme: Bring back those friendly, volumetric, toy-like buttons and the legendary green hills background (Bliss).
• Windows 7 Aero Glass: Bring back the gorgeous transparent windows with real glossy reflections, blur effects, and soft shadows.
• Classic Minesweeper: Bring back the original Minesweeper game with that charismatic yellow smiley face indicator.
• Atmospheric Sounds: Bring back beautiful nostalgic system startup sounds and alerts.
• Massive Variety: Provide at least 50 different desktop wallpapers and 50 distinct visual themes right out of the box (for example, theme #39 could be a bright "Neon" theme).
• Tons of other features: Bring back built-in desktop gadgets and smooth 3D animations like Flip 3D.

Please make Windows look alive, rich, and exciting again!
