My Microsoft 365 account: [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed] (tenant Ilchuk582). My subscription has been blocked due to non-payment, but when I try to pay the invoice with different cards, the page shows the message: “It is currently not possible to pay this bill. Contact support for help.” I have already changed the payment method and tried multiple cards, but the system still blocks the payment. In OneDrive I can see all my files listed, but I cannot open or download them, and I have no local copies. Phone support and online chat do not connect me to a human agent – they only repeat standard automated answers. Please urgently escalate my case to a support specialist who can manually review my Microsoft 365 invoice and subscription and help restore access to my OneDrive data.

Since you are using English and posting on the ru-ru page, I will reply in English; however, if you would prefer a different language, please let me know and I will adjust accordingly.

    Dear @Денис Ільчук

I completely understand your urgency regarding your blocked OneDrive access and the inability to process your invoice online. I know how critical it is to access your files, especially when local copies are unavailable.

When an account enters a Disabled or Deprovisioned state due to prolonged non-payment, the self-service payment portal locks automatically to prevent automated charge errors. In this state, only a Microsoft Support Representative with direct billing admin rights can manually override the lock, process your invoice, and reactivate subscription access to unlock your OneDrive data.

Because I am an Independent Advisor in this public community forum, I do not have access to your personal tenant accounts, billing details, or internal tools to manually clear this hold. However, you can bypass the automated virtual assistant and reach a human support agent directly by following these steps:

    1. Go to the Microsoft Admin Center and sign in with your Microsoft 365 Work/School global admin credentials.
    2. Select Help & support at the bottom right of the page.
    3. In the search box, type Direct Human Support for Billing Account Lock (using specific billing phrases helps bypass the standard bot scripts).
    4. Scroll down and select Contact Support or Contact Us.
    5. Choose Phone or Email as your preferred contact method.

If calling phone support hasn’t been effective and you’re getting disconnected or can’t sign in admin center to raise support, there is another option you can consider as a workaround to reach the right team. You can sign up for a new Microsoft 365 tenant by creating a trial subscription here: Microsoft 365 Business Plans and Pricing | Microsoft 365

Once that new tenant is created, you’ll be able to access the Microsoft 365 admin center and submit a support ticket directly from there. In the ticket, explain that you’re requesting assistance from the Data Protection Team for your original tenant, due to being locked out as the only admin with MFA issues. This method often helps bypass the automated loops because you’re able to submit the request from an authenticated admin center, even if it’s under a temporary tenant.

Note: Please remember to cancel the trial subscription once your issue is resolved to avoid any unintended charges.

If you are using a personal Microsoft Account (Home/Personal subscription):

    1. Go to Contact Microsoft Support while signed in.
    2. Select Microsoft 365 > Get Home Support.
    3. Type Billing Account Locked in the description box, press Enter, then click the Contact Support button at the bottom of the page.
    4. Select Products and services > Microsoft 365 and Office > Billing and payment updates, then click Confirm.
    5. Choose Chat with a support agent in your web browser to connect directly with a representative.

Data Retention Note: Microsoft retains your OneDrive data in a read-only/disabled state for a grace period (typically up to 90 days for business accounts after subscription cancellation) before permanent deletion. Your files are still intact on the server and will become accessible again as soon as the billing specialist processes your payment and reactivates your account.

For further reading on subscription lifecycle states, you can review the official documentation: What happens to my data and access when my subscription ends?.

Please let me know if you run into any issues during this process so I can guide you further.
