I am writing to ask for help with Windows Update on Windows 10 Pro 22H2.

I am a Counter-Strike 2 player and I play on the FACEIT platform, which requires up-to-date Windows security updates to run its anti-cheat system. At the moment, I am completely unable to play, because my Windows system cannot install the required updates.

I cannot upgrade to Windows 11, because my PC does not support TPM 2.0 or Secure Boot. My computer is old (built around 2014), and hardware upgrade is not possible for me.

I am also unable to purchase Extended Security Updates (ESU) or a new computer due to financial reasons. Unfortunately, buying new hardware or paid updates is not an option for me.

Windows Update shows the following error: 0x800f0805 I have already tried all standard troubleshooting steps:

SFC scan (completed successfully)

DISM restore health (completed successfully)

Reset Windows Update components

Despite this, Windows Update still fails to install important security updates and reports that my system is missing them.

Because of this situation, I am blocked from playing FACEIT, even though my system is stable and working correctly otherwise.

I would like to kindly ask if there is any official, free, or alternative solution that would allow Windows 10 Pro users in my situation to receive the required security updates, or any guidance you can provide.
