Welcome Dima Savchenko,
Thank you for joining the Q&A Forum and apologies for the inconvenience.
From what you shared, I understand that when you try to install the game Sea of Thieves, it gets stuck in infinite loading. When you attempt to open the Xbox app, that also stays in infinite loading, and at one point you encountered error code 0x80070002.
Here are some methods to fix this issue:
1. Run the Gaming Services Repair Tool
Download and run the Gaming Services Repair Tool for PC
2. Repair the Xbox App and Windows Store App
Open Settings > Apps > Installed Apps
Locate Xbox > click Advanced options
Select Repair
Restart your device to apply changes
Repeat the same steps for the Microsoft Store app
3. Clear the Windows Store Cache
Open Command Prompt (Admin)
Type: WSReset.exe > press Enter
Alternatively:
In Start Search, type wsreset.exe
Right-click the result > select Run as administrator
4. Reinstall the Gaming Services App
Open Windows PowerShell (Admin)
Run the following command to uninstall Gaming Services:
get-appxpackage Microsoft.GamingServices | remove-AppxPackage -allusers
Then reinstall Gaming Services by running:
start ms-windows-store://pdp/?productid=9MWPM2CQNLHN
Install the app from the Store page
Select Yes when prompted by User Account Control (UAC)
Restart your device and try installing the game again
Extra tip: Ensure Windows and the Xbox app are fully updated as new patches often resolve underlying issues
I hope this helps. I'm here if you have any further questions!
