    Hi Ivan Pashkin,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A!

I know you're urgently looking for Microsoft Office Communicator Mobile 2007 R2 for an educational historical demonstration. Unfortunately, this is a challenging request since Microsoft retired this product line years ago, replacing it with Lync and eventually Teams.

Microsoft Office Communicator 2007 R2 - Microsoft Lifecycle | Microsoft Learn is considered end-of-life software, and Microsoft no longer provides this file for direct download. For your college laboratory on unified communications history, here's something I can recommend:

    1. Wait and hope that someone, who may have saved a copy for more than a decade, comes across your posts and shares the file.
    2. Show documentation and screenshots instead of installing the actual client, as modern systems can’t support it anyway.
    3. Combine with using Microsoft Teams as an example for the evolution from Communicator to current technology.

For quicker and easier preparation, I believe it'd be better if you focus on finding archived contents and making connections to the current "version" (Teams). This approach provides the historical context without the technical and security challenges of trying to find and run an incompatible software.
