Hello,
Your Windows 11 version 26H2, build 26300.9711, is up to date. However, the redesigned Windows Search is not included for everyone running 26H2 yet.
Microsoft announced on October 7 that the new Windows Search experience is initially rolling out to Windows Insiders in the Experimental channel.
If you want to try it early, you would need to join the Windows Insider Experimental channel and update to build 26340.9616 or later.
After updating, go to:
Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates, then restart your computer.
You can then check:
Settings > Windows Update > Windows Insider Program > Feature flags
Look for "New Windows Search Experience" and enable it.
Please note that the initial preview supports English only.
If you prefer to stay on the stable version of Windows 11, I recommend waiting. Microsoft confirmed on October 15 that the redesigned Windows Search will roll out more broadly later in 2026, but has not provided a specific date.
Also, the redesigned Search currently applies to the taskbar. Microsoft plans to extend it to Start menu search in 2027.

There is nothing you need to repair or reinstall on your current Windows installation to resolve this. The feature simply has not reached the general release yet.
