I have the latest version of moodle 5.2 and the problem is that the plugins (especially Teams Meeting (atto editor)) arent compatible with this version, because the latest supportest version is 5.1. How can i install it so that it works on the latest version or when will the plugins be updeted so that they are compatible?

I noticed that you’re using English in your posts although this is a Polish forum, I’ll continue in English so my answer is as clear and helpful as possible. If you’d prefer me to switch to Polish, just let me know and I’ll gladly do so.

    Hi @Franek Chmiel

From what I've been able to find, starting from Moodle 5.0, the Atto text editor was removed from Moodle core, meaning it no longer comes pre-installed with Moodle. For more details, please refer to: Moodle 5.0 | Moodle Developer ResourcesObraz użytkownika

However, based on the official GitHub repository, it seems it was moved to the Moodle Plugin Database as a separate plugin that can still be downloaded and installed manually. This may explain why the Teams Meeting (atto_teamsmeeting) plugin still shows support up to Moodle 5.1 because Atto could still be installed separately on those versions and the plugin could still function.

For Moodle 5.2, it appears that the plugin hasn't been updated to confirm compatibility. Based on the Moodle Plugins Directory, the last update was over 2 years ago, so it's unclear whether or when the developers plan to update it.

It's also worth noting that Moodle's Platform Manager stated in the official developer forum: "Between now and when the Atto editor is removed we won't be investing development effort or accepting new features or improvements to Atto." This suggests that Atto-based plugins may receive less and less support going forward.
