Cannot add specific email address to outlook mobile. Message: Access denied for the resource. Tag: 9hehw

When I try to add an email account (third party), I receive the message below. I have a 365 subscription and installed Outlook on a new phone. The account worked on the old phone, but after deleting it, I can't add it either. Outlook PC doesn't present any problems. I can add other addresses in the same domain in the mobile app, but unfortunately, I can't add this particular email address. The message appears immediately after entering the email address, before asking for the password, server address, etc.

    Thank you for your reply. My account doesn't have any associated devices. As I mentioned, there's no problem creating an account with the same domain from the same service provider. Additionally, there's no problem adding other accounts on multiple devices. In summary: I can add accounts like (for example) ******@pandik.pl and ******@pandik.pl on multiple mobile devices, but I can't add ******@pandik.pl.

    Thanks for the update. Did you remove the old phone for this email from your Microsoft account security devices?

    Outlook mobile will block the setup if the old device is still linked or if the email provider requires modern authentication for new sign ins. Please sign in to your Microsoft account online, go to Security, remove the old phone, then try adding the address again. If the provider uses app passwords or special server settings, confirm those with the mailbox admin because Outlook needs the correct permission before setup continues.
