I have gone through Windows and know almost everything about it as far as licensing is concerned.
Now, I urgently bought Office 2019 to have word and I would like to check the type of license in the sense of whether it has the ability to transfer to another computer, whether I can make hardware changes such as updating the motherboard or bios.
For now, I am a home user.
What I mean is whether the license is assigned to the hardware - the computer or the user, or whether there are any other possible restrictions. Of course, I have the purchase invoice, etc.
I'm most interested in knowing whether, in the event of a hardware failure or bios update, I might find that Word - office might not start, won't work or I won't be able to finish some writing and generally started things.
I like Office very much and my first one was Office 2003 box for students and home users, I think, bought in some big electromarket....
It solved all my problems with text formatting, etc. It really worked phenomenally, intuitively and seamlessly. I had a preview of the formatting right away. The best part, however, was its intuitiveness in terms of logically linking functions and options. Unfortunately, it was lost somewhere and I can't find the box with the CD.
Until recently I used Libre Office, and more recently WPS Office.... and many others.
I have to prepare a lot of official and court letters urgently and I don't have time for nonsense. However, I would like to start by verifying the type of license.
In summary, how to verify the type of license in this regard? Thank you in advance for your help.
