Hi,
I use Work by Speech app which uses Windows Speech Recognition Engine.
The problem is that after switching to Windows 11, I discovered that voice training was removed. On Windows 10 I could access it by going to "Start -> Control Panel -> Ease of Access -> Speech Recognition -> Train your computer to better understand you".
It's also not available in "Settings > Time & language > Speech".
Without voice training Work by Speech is useless (speech recognition is very inaccurate). It also affects other apps that use Windows Speech Recognition Engine - like Voicebot, VoiceAttack and more.
Do you know how to complete voice training on Windows 11?

Thank you for your answer.
I prefer using Work by Speech over using Voice Access, because it has 3 times faster mouse control by speech.
I would prefer for the old wizard and speech recognition profile switching to be restored for apps that use local speech recognition (like Work by Speech, Voicebot, Voiceattack).
I will provide feedback to Microsoft that I would like old wizard and speech recognition profile switching to be restored.
Hello ,
I’m here to help you in resolving your issue
Windows Speech Recognition (WSR) still exists — but the voice training wizard is gone.
The newer focus is on Windows Voice Access and Microsoft Online Speech Services , both use cloud AI models, not local training.
Local training customization is no longer officially supported on Windows 11.
Although you can’t explicitly run a training wizard, WSR slowly adapts based on correction.
Press Windows + Ctrl + S.
Right-click wrong recognized text > choose correction.
The engine slowly improves based on manual corrections.
Note: This is very slow compared to the old wizard but still possible.
