Good morning
initially had the option to respond in Dutch, which is why my initial question was in Dutch.
FYI
The issue with the dates starts in the source document.
I’m unable to convert the numeric values into proper dates. Even though Excel recognizes them as dates, my file still doesn’t accept them as valid dates. Unfortunately, this cannot be resolved using the "Text to Columns" option (under Data) or the "Number Format" option (under Home).
When sorting, all years and months are displayed:
- Previous months appear as years, which can be expanded into months.
- However, the new month does not appear in the list and instead shows up at the bottom, displaying all individual dates for that month.
I’ve also tried the options you have given me, but that didn’t work either.
I recreated a new pivot table, and Excel does recognize the dates as proper date values. However, even this did not produce the desired result. The problem is still there.
What’s strange is that this issue is now happening not only with the latest files but also with the December and January files. I was previously able to modify those dates, but now that’s no longer possible.
We suspect there might be a bug in Excel causing this issue.
