Kan zeen text meer selecteren in Word met de trackpad ipad

Oké, dus het volledig opnieuw opstarten en opnieuw installeren werkte niet. We kunnen app-corruptie uitsluiten, maar waarschijnlijk een UI-modus of iPadOS-invoerbug. Maar voordat we overwegen dit te melden, gaat u naar Instellingen, vervolgens naar Toegankelijkheid en vervolgens naar Aanwijzerbediening.

Probeer de volgende aanpassingen:

• Zet Aanwijzeranimaties en vervolgens UIT.
• Zet Contrast verhogen en vervolgens AAN (optioneel, maakt de vorm van de aanwijzer duidelijker).

Open Word opnieuw en test opnieuw.

Swipe up from the bottom then close Word completely.

Reopen the same document. There was a known issue (mid-2024) where Word on iPad lost trackpad text selection after updates.

• Go to App Store then Updates then Word then Update.

If none of the above restores the I-beam selection:

• Go to Settings then General then iPad Storage then Word then Delete App.
• Reinstall it from the App Store.
• Log in again and test in a blank document.

The options are fewer than the regular desktop layout. Ensure Word is in full desktop layout:

• Tap the “mobile/desktop icon” (a small screen/tablet icon) in the upper-right corner of the Word toolbar,it’s visible in your screenshot, just left of the magnifying glass.
• Tap “Desktop layout” (or “Bureaubladindeling” in Dutch).
• Once Word switches layouts, try selecting text again with the trackpad.
• The cursor should change to an I-beam, allowing selection like on a Mac.

If the layout toggle isn’t there try switching orientation:

• Turn the iPad to landscape mode.
• Then reopen the “…” menu, the layout icon often reappears in landscape.

Here's how:

• Open Word on your iPad.
• Tap the three dots (…) at the top toolbar.
• Look for “Touch” or “Mouse/Trackpad” mode.
• Switch to Mouse/Trackpad mode.
  • This re-enables normal text selection via the trackpad cursor.

If the problem persists, sometimes the app gets “stuck” in touch interaction mode.

• Swipe up from the bottom (or double-click Home) to open the app switcher.
• Swipe Word up to close it completely.
• Reopen Word and try selecting text again.
