“Vriendelijke groet, Marcel Speet Art Project.”
Engelse versie
I used to have a personal Microsoft account under the email address ******@marcel.speet.net, which I used for many years for OneDrive and OneNote.
After setting up a Microsoft 365 Business account using the same email address, my personal account has disappeared.
I now receive errors like AADSTS900561, or I’m automatically redirected to my business environment (“Marcel Speet Art Project”). I no longer have access to any of my personal files.
The issue began when I attempted to merge personal and business notebooks, and after many failed attempts to combine or use both accounts side by side, it seems that my personal account was deleted or overwritten.
The recovery tool says: “This Microsoft account does not exist.”
I urgently need assistance recovering my personal account, or at least accessing the data associated with it (especially OneDrive and OneNote files).
>>Follow-up (July 1, 2025):
Today I received an automated notification from Microsoft that my password had been reset — signed:
“Kind regards, Marcel Speet Art Project.”
This confirms that the password reset I attempted for my personal Microsoft account (******@marcel.speet.net) was actually applied to my business Microsoft 365 account.
I was never able to reset the personal account, and it now appears that it has been silently overwritten by the business tenant without warning or consent.
This is not a simple user error. It shows that Microsoft allowed both a personal and a business identity on the same email address — but once a business tenant is created, the personal account is essentially erased without notification.
I urgently need support to recover either the personal account itself or access to the files that were associated with it.
