A friend of mine is using Microsoft 365 and the desktop version of Outlook. We would like to configure Outlook so that when he tries to send a large attachment, it is automatically sent as a OneDrive link — similar to how it works in the web version of Outlook (Outlook.com). I tried solving this by adding OneDrive as an add-in, following the instructions on: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/use-add-ins-in-outlook-1ee261f9-49bf-4ba6-b3e2-2ba7bcab64c8#picktab=classic_outlook However, at the “All Apps” step I already run into problems. The icon is visible on the ribbon, but the “Add Apps” option is not. I also tried using the search bar to open the Apps dialog, but no luck. My question is: Is it possible in Microsoft 365 Outlook (desktop version) to send large attachments via a OneDrive link — similar to Outlook.com? If so, how can we set this up?
