Good day

I have a question, I would like to set up NL-ALERT. But I can't find it anywhere on my Android phone. Now I ask this question here because my android phone is registered on Microsoft azure active directory and is therefore managed by my organization. So myself. Now I want to know if I have to set this via endpoint and if so how and if I have to set this via my phone also if so how

I would like to hear from you.

Thank you in advance.

Sincerely Tobias

    Hello

I am Abdal and I would be glad to help you with your question.

If your Android phone is managed through an endpoint management system, such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager (formerly known as Microsoft Intune), the settings and configurations on your device may be controlled by your organization. In such cases, you might not have direct access to enable or modify specific features like the NL-Alerts or emergency alerts.

In this situation, I recommend reaching out to your organization's IT department or your company's IT support team for assistance. They should be able to provide you with guidance on how to enable or customize the emergency alerts feature on your managed device. They will have the necessary knowledge and access to configure the settings according to your organization's policies and requirements.

It's important to note that in managed environments, certain settings and features may be restricted or customized to ensure compliance, security, and consistency across devices within the organization. Your IT department will be the best resource to help you navigate these configurations and enable the desired alerts if they are allowed within your organization's policies.

    I hope this information helps.

    Regards,

    Abdal

    Hi,

I'm Taiwo and I'd be happy to help you with your question. In this Forum, We are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

In this case your Android phone is managed by your organization through Microsoft Azure Active Directory, there might be specific configurations or restrictions in place that could affect the visibility or availability of certain features.

    1. Open the "Settings" app on your Android phone and search for "NL-Alert" or "Emergency alerts" in the search bar. This should help you find the relevant settings if they are available on your device.
    2. Once you locate the NL-Alert settings, enable the feature if it is disabled. You might find options to enable both NL-Alert test messages and actual NL-Alert emergency messages.
    3. Depending on your device, you may have options to customize the sound, vibration, or other aspects of the NL-Alert notifications. Adjust these settings according to your preferences.
    4. It's always a good idea to ensure that your Android phone is running the latest software version. Check for any available system updates and install them if necessary, as they may include bug fixes or improvements related to emergency alerts.

I hope this helps ;-), let me know if this is contrary to what you need, I would still be helpful to answer more of your questions.

    Best Regards, Thank You.
