Organize a teams meeting in a channel without inviting/notifying everyone in the team

Hi everyone!

I work in a large Teams environment, and we have multiple channels where our work is divided by different themes or projects.

I would like to add a meeting to a one of the channels. But I don't want that everyone in the Team gets a notification or sees an invite in their calendar. I only want the people who I specifically invite to get a notification. Though, I want the meeting to be accessible and I want the chat afterwards to be visible for anyone interested.

Is this possible?

    Please try to schedule a meeting in Teams Calendar but you need to delete the channel and add required attendees as needed.
