Er kan niet naar nieuwe updates worden gezocht (Fout: Code 80073701)

Hallo,

Windows Update mislukt en vraagt om Winows Update zelf te updaten. Het updaten van Windows Update mislukt helaas ook, waarbij ik de foutmelding met code 80073701 krijg. Ik heb de versie van Windows Update opgezocht, en mijn versie is reeds de meest recente.

Kan iemand mij verder helpen?

    Dag Jean, de foutcode 0x800F0805 geeft aan dat systeembestanden beschadigd zijn. Ik raad aan om het volgende te doen:

    • maak EERST een reservekopie van je belangrijke bestanden
    • voer een schijfcontrole uit door naar het startscherm te gaan en dan CMD.EXE in te tikken. Klik dan met de rechtermuisknop op het gelijknamige zoekresultaat en kies "Als administrator uitvoeren"
    • tik dan in de zwarte opdrachtprompt in: CHKDSK /R C: (en druk op ENTER). Druk dan op J om te bevestigen dat de schijfcontrole bij de volgende herstart mag uitgevoegd worden.

    Waarschuwing: de schijfcontrole mag niet onderbroken worden. Als je een laptop hebt, zorg dan dat de lader aangesloten is. De controle kan meerdere uren duren !

    Als deze procedure het probleem niet oplost, dan zal je Windows opnieuw dienen te installeren. Zie de handleiding van de computer voor de correcte procedure. Je zal hierna je eigen programma's opnieuw dienen te installeren.

    Beste Dominique,

    Hier hetzelfde probleem. Ik heb SFC/SCANNOW uitgevoerd en het cbs.log bestand bekeken. Daar lijken wat foutmeldingen in te staan waarvan ik niet weet wat ik er mee moet. Zie hieronder een kopie van het volledige bestand. Hulp nodig! Alvast dank.

    Hallo Dominique,

    Alles is weer helemaal oké. Activatie W7 is probleemloos verlopen en geen pop-up venster meer.

    Als je de KB3024777 update handmatig installeert, dan word deze bij de update geschiedenis niet weergegeven. De enige functie van die update is eigenlijk om KB3004394 te verwijderen. Verder worden geen instellingen gewijzigd.

    Na een herstelinstallatie dient Windows geactiveerd te worden. Als je in het startmenu intikt: SLui 4 (en op ENTER drukt), dan zal de telefonische activatie starten.
