I added and then removed an Outlook.com alias. Since then, I get “We limit how often you can add aliases” for every new alias I try. Can you explain whether this is a temporary account restriction or whether the removed address can no longer be used?

    There are limits..

    Maximum of 2 new aliases changes within a rolling 7-day period.

    Maximum of 10 new aliases changes within a rolling 12-month period.

    Maximum of 10 active aliases on the account at one time.

    So, depends on how many changes you've been making; you might have to wait 7 days or a year before you can make new changes.
