Azure DevOps: Organization-wide Sign-in Delay After Successful Entra ID Authentication — Slow Initial Load
Problem description
I am experiencing an organization-wide delay of about 60 seconds after users successfully authenticate with Microsoft Entra ID when signing into Azure DevOps Services. The issue occurs during the initial load of the Azure DevOps session, specifically after the browser stalls at the '_signedin' endpoint before the organization fully loads.
Environment
Azure DevOps Services; Sign-in integrated with Microsoft Entra ID; Impact observed across multiple user accounts, browsers, and network locations.
What I've already tried
I have compared behavior across multiple users, locations, browsers, and account types, confirming that authentication completes successfully before the delay. I have also tested in private/incognito mode with cache and cookies cleared, and with VPN, proxy, and extensions disabled, which eliminates the delay.
No recent changes to Conditional Access policies or Azure DevOps configurations have been documented. I have not captured HAR files or sign-in logs to analyze network requests or sign-in details.
Current status
Currently, I am seeking assistance to identify the root cause of this delay and to determine if there are any Conditional Access or security policies affecting the sign-in process. I would appreciate guidance on capturing relevant network and sign-in logs to facilitate further troubleshooting.
