Hi, I have a problem with my controller on Windows 11.
- USB mouse works fine
- When I plug in my controller I hear the sound
- But it does NOT show up in joy.cpl or Device Manager
- It used to work before
it says it is a sound thing but it isnt
- Tried different USB ports and reinstalling drivers
Specs:
- Ryzen 5 5600G
- RX 6600 XT
- ASUS PRIME B450M-A II
- 16GB RAM

Click the arrow and select "Remove devices here" > restart your PC and reconnect the USB controller. See if it lights up orange and then changes to white.
Connect it to a USB 3.0 port; if it lights up orange, change the cable.

You don't need to buy a USB hub. Your computer, being Windows, usually has USB 3.0 ports, and the base card might be blue; just take a look.
You don't need to buy anything.
