Impossible to add MailFrom adresses in Email Communication Services Domain

I created a communication service in Azure.
I connected succesfully a custom domain to the communication service

I click on the custom domain name in the communication service, When i click on the tab MailFrom adresses , the possibility to add a MailFrom adress is not active.

What am i doing wrong?

i could add the desired mailFrom adress by using Powershell.

az communication email domain sender-username create --domain-name <domainname> --email-service-name <123456>-emailacsendpoint --resource-group <resourcegroup> --subscription <subscriptionId> --sender-username <Username> --username <Username> --display-name <Displayname>

From your description, it sounds like you’ve successfully connected your custom domain to the Azure Communication Service, which is a great first step. The reason the “MailFrom addresses” option is not active is typically because the domain has not yet been fully verified with the required DNS records. Specifically, you’ll need to configure and validate the SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records for your custom domain before the MailFrom tab becomes available. Once those DNS records are properly set and propagated, the option to add a MailFrom address should become active.

I recommend double-checking your DNS provider’s settings to ensure the records are correctly added and that propagation has completed (this can sometimes take a few hours). After verification, you should be able to add MailFrom addresses without issue. Hello,

Unfortially, even after 1 day, it still doesn't work.
Maybe addiditional info is needed what i have set up.

I created a wordpress via app service (Linux)
The communcation service was auto created.
I have added the custom domain to the communication service. ( status = connected)

for the domain. All status are ok.

I want to be able to send from a mailadres linked to the custom domain from a forms in wordpress. I think i also need to set something in my enviroonementsvariables.
WP_EMAIL_CONNECTION_STRING
ENTRA_CLIENT_ID i took from the endpoint id.
No idea what still needs to be changed.

Hmm... Op basis van je eerdere bericht en de screenshot lijkt het erop dat je goede vooruitgang hebt geboekt met het opzetten van de Azure Communication Service en het verbinden van je aangepaste domein. Aangezien het MailFrom-adres nu zichtbaar en geconfigureerd is, maar de e-mailfunctionaliteit in je WordPress-app nog steeds niet werkt, kan het probleem liggen in hoe de omgevingsvariabelen in je App Service zijn ingesteld.

Hier zijn een paar dingen om te controleren:

Zorg dat de WP_EMAIL_CONNECTION_STRING correct is opgemaakt en overeenkomt met de verbindingsstring die door de Communication Service wordt geleverd.

Bevestig dat dit ENTRA_CLIENT_ID overeenkomt met de beheerde identiteit of app-registratie die gemachtigd is om e-mail via de Communication Service te verzenden.

Zorg ervoor dat de variabele ENABLE_EMAIL_MANAGED_IDENTITY is ingesteld op true als je managed identity gebruikt voor authenticatie.

Controleer dubbel of je WordPress-plugin of e-mailhandler correct is ingesteld om SMTP of de Azure Communication Email API te gebruiken.
