Hi Wassili,
You’ll need to reach out to the owner of the folder and ask them to re-share it with you. Here’s what they should do:
Re-share the Folder Go to OneDrive online, right-click the folder, and choose “Manage Access.” Remove your email from the list, then re-add it using the “Share” button. Make sure they select either “Can edit” or “Can view”, depending on what you need.
Check Your “Shared” Tab Go to OneDrive online and click “Shared” on the left panel. If the folder isn’t listed, the share link may have expired or been removed.
Ownership Workaround OneDrive doesn’t allow direct ownership transfer of shared folders, but here’s a workaround: The current owner can download the folder, then upload it to a new folder in their OneDrive. They can then share that new folder with you. You can download and re-upload it to your own OneDrive now you’ll be the owner.
If the folder contains important documents (like your administration), and the owner isn’t sure how to proceed, they can also zip the folder and send it to you directly via email or a file transfer service.
Best regards,
Jeric
