Good morning,
We are seeing a weird issue occur in our VDI environment. When you want to share your screen you do not have the option to choose which monitor you want to share.
The only option you have is to share screen 1 and when you do share that screen, you share all your monitors. We have no clue what causes this. The issue suddenly appeared.
VDA version: 1912.0.5000.5174
Citrix Workspace App Version: 22.3.2000.2105
Teams Version: 1.6.00.18681
We already have a support ticket running with Microsoft but no progress so far. I was curious if other people have experienced this issue.

Hello Mitlin I'm Shalom and I'd happily help you with your question. In this forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself. I understand the issue you are facing with the inability to select a specific monitor for screen sharing in your VDI environment with Teams. This can be a frustrating problem, but there are a few things you can check and try to resolve the issue: 1. Monitor Configuration: Ensure that the monitors are set up correctly in your VDI environment. Sometimes, the monitor numbering or configuration can get mixed up, which might lead to Teams not recognizing individual monitors. Double-check the monitor settings in your VDI setup. 2. Teams Screen Sharing Settings: Check the screen sharing settings within the Teams application. To do this, click on your profile picture in Teams, then go to "Settings" > "Devices." Under the "Screen" section, see if there are any options related to multiple monitors or screen selection. If there is an option to choose a specific screen, make sure it's selected correctly. 3. Update Teams and Citrix Workspace: Ensure that both Teams and Citrix Workspace App are up to date. Newer versions may have bug fixes or improvements that address such issues. 4. Citrix Workspace App Compatibility: Check the compatibility of your Citrix Workspace App with the VDA and Teams versions you are using. There might be specific compatibility issues causing this behavior. 5. Graphics Drivers: Ensure that the graphics drivers on the client machine and the VDI host are up to date. Outdated or incompatible drivers can sometimes cause problems with multi-monitor setups. 6. Teams Compatibility Mode: Try enabling or disabling Teams' compatibility mode in the VDI environment. This setting can sometimes influence how Teams handles multi-monitor setups. 7. Temporary Workaround: As a temporary workaround, you can try configuring your VDI environment to use a single-monitor setup instead of a multi-monitor setup. This may help Teams recognize and share the single screen properly. I hope these suggestions help you in resolving the problem. Remember to consult your IT team or administrators before making any changes to your VDI setup. Good luck! Best Regards, Shalom
Thanks for responding Shalom. Most of the points have already been checked. Hopefully an upgrade of the workspace app and the citrix backend will solve this. I was also just curious if other people have seen this kind of behaviour in their VDI environment.
