Change Microsoft Edge settings via CLI

I would like to change some settings in Microsoft Edge and would like to do that via de CLI. The settings I would like to change are the way EDGE starts and the pages it should load when it starts. I would like to prepend two URL's before the URL's that are already there.

The URL's that should be loaded are vissible in the Preferences file located in C:\Users{username}\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default, but I couldn't find the setting that makes Edge load these pages when started. I also prefer to run a command like: "MSEDGE.EXE --change_startup_url {url} {url} --change_startup_method 4" (command parameters are completely made up and based on nothing).

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, I'm Elise, a fellow user like yourself and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

You would usually do this by editing the registry to set a single startup page, rather than calling Edge by command line.

Microsoft have publish a sample powershell script which may be helpful for you:

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

    Kind Regards,

    Elise
