Hello,

In late 2025 my microsoft account got hacked. someone went into the account and changed the mail, they also added 2-step authenticator to the new mail. I've tried to contact support maybe 20 times, but the AI dosent help me at all. I need human assistance to get it back.

I've tried all of the forms and account recovery tools microsoft offers 10+ times, but with no luck.

The main reason i need my account back is because of my minecraft user. It's made in 2012 and has well over 20k$ worth of value attached to it. I paid for my account, therefore i have my right to get it back. If support wont help me, then i will pursue with legal actions.

    Hi Eirik Hamnes

I understand how frustrating and concerning this situation is, especially when the account contains a long-standing Minecraft profile and purchases that are important to you.

Unfortunately, Microsoft Support cannot restore access to an account based solely on ownership claims, account value, or purchase history. When an account has been compromised and the security information has been changed, access can only be restored through Microsoft's account recovery and ownership verification processes. This is designed to protect all users from unauthorized access, even in situations where the legitimate owner is experiencing difficulty regaining access.

Since you've already completed the Account Recovery Form multiple times without success, I recommend contacting Microsoft Support directly and requesting an account recovery review.

You can contact Microsoft Support here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus#!

    • Click Show expanded list of products
    • Select Outlook > Get Home support
    • Type Outlook live chat in the search box, then select Get Help > Contact Support
    • If you can’t sign in to the affected account, sign in with a different Microsoft account to access support options
    • Under Products & Services, select Other Products > Outlook, then choose Chat with a support agent via web browser

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators, contributors including external Microsoft employees cannot directly intervene in Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. Our role is limited to providing technical guidance on reported issues, requests, or ideas only.

Please feel free to let me know if you have any further updates, thanks.
