Hi,

I have a problem with a log on window popping up all the time; it says "You have to log on to your Microsoft account again to send parental request to get more screen time or app approvals or to visit spesfic web pages". (Sorry for the poor transalation from norwegian to english). When I try to log on again with my pin code, it disapears for some minutes before it pops up again. Everything else seems to work as it should. What is wrong?

    Hello Kasper Engvik,

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A Forum.

It seems that Windows keeps showing a pop-up asking you to "log-in again " to your Microsoft account, even after you have already signed in. This usually happens when the Family Safety or account verification token become stuck or expired.

You can kindly try these following steps:

    1. Make sure your Microsoft account is fully signed in:
      • Open Settings > Accounts > Your Info.
      • Check if it says: "Verify your identity" or "Sign in again".
      • If yes, click it and sign in with your password or two-step verification.
      • Also sign out and back into Microsoft Store, OneDrive, and Family Safety, refresh your login after.
    2. Repair or reset the Family Setup: If the pop-up mentions Family Safety or parental approval:
      • Visit Settings > Apps > Installed apps (or Apps & features).
      • Find the Microsoft Family Safety > Advanced options > click Repair.
      • If that doesn't help, please click Reset to clear old sign-in data.
    3. Check Family settings online:
      • Kindly go to Microsoft Family Safety and sign in.
      • Make sure that the account is correctly listed as child or organizer.
      • Remove and re-add the account if it shows as inactive or duplicated.
    4. Turn off related notifications (optional):
      • Visit Settings > System > Notifications.
      • Scroll down and turn of notifications for Family Safety or Microsoft account.
    5. If the steps above still not work:
      • Remove your Microsoft account from Settings > Accounts > Email & contacts, then sign in again.
      • Or switch to a local account, reboot, then sign back in with your Microsoft account.

I hope it helps, please feel free to let me know if your need any further assistance.
