    Hello,

Any chance the computer originally came with Home edition, and later was upgraded to Pro edition with an upgrade license?

The code 3V66T is the last five digits of the Pro license generic key. When it says Retail and 3V66T, it really doesn't narrow down much - It can mean a few things:

    1. The entire Pro license itself is retail. And it is on digital license.
    2. Only the upgrade portion to Pro is retail and digital, but it was used on an already activated Home edition (could be retail or OEM, which we don't know).

If it is scenario 1, try this: go to Settings > System > Activation, run the troubleshooter, choose the hardware change option. When it asks you where it is installed on right now, you should choose the old device name. Then click on Activate button. And on the next screen when it asks you where to transfer it to, choose your new device name. See if it works.

If it is scenario 2, if your Home license is OEM, then you will not be able to reuse this Pro license until you activate Home first. OEM license is gone after motherboard change, so you need to buy a Home license first in order to use upgrade license.
