Installing XLstat on Sonoma 14.2.1

Hi

I cant seem to install XLSTAT on my version of mac. It worked fine on my previous mac. Now, when i try to install it, it just says "failed to configure first start up". The XLSTAT guidelines tells me to uninstall XLSTAT and then download it again. However, this guideline is outdated, since the uninstall application is nowhere to found on my mac.

How do i sort this out?

    Hello VOLTERSVIK F,

    I am an independent advisor, trying to help other users in the Community with my experience in Microsoft products. Please note that I am a user like you and don't work directly for Microsoft.

    Sorry for the inconvenience, please try out the troubleshooting steps below:

    1. Quit the XLSTAT totally
    2. Then drag the application into the bin icon
    3. Then you have to delete the preference by going to /Library/Preferences and looking for any files related to XLSTAT and delete or move to trash
    4. Then delete the application file and cache by going to Library > Application Support folder and delete anything that shows XLSTAT
    5. Then, after deleting all XLSTAT files, empty the trash to permanently delete them from your system.
    6. Lastly, restart your Mac and reinstall it.
