Outlook cannot receive mail

People can’t send me mail or I don’t get them. I sent an email first and didn’t even receive an answer (and they told me they did answer me.) Why is this happening?

    Could you check again your Junk, Spam, or Other folders to see if the replies might have been filtered there by mistake?

    Another thing to look at is your mail rules or forwarding settings. If there’s a rule moving or deleting emails automatically, that could be why you're not seeing replies.

    And just to confirm, when the other person replied, did they click “Reply” to your original message, or did they send a brand new email?

    First, can you please check if your Outlook (Attachments) storage is full? If your mailbox is near or over the storage limit, new emails might not arrive in your inbox https://onedrive.live.com/managestorage in the same page, please check your OneDrive storage as it's linked to your Microsoft account and can sometimes affect email services if it's full.

    If issue persists, do you have an active Microsoft 365 subscription, or is it set to auto-renew? Sometimes, if the subscription has expired or didn’t auto-renew properly, that can cause issues with receiving emails.
