Hi 익명,
I can understand how frustrating it is to be stuck in an age verification and approval situation, especially if you changed the region expecting it to help and instead became blocked by the parental consent process.
Unfortunately, Microsoft does not provide a supported way to bypass parental consent requirements, even if your intention is simply to play Minecraft or create YouTube content. Adding a friend as a parent or guardian would also not be appropriate if they are not your actual parent or legal guardian.
From what you've described, the issue appears to have been triggered by changing the Microsoft account region to South Korea. This country has additional age-verification and parental consent requirements for some Microsoft services and games. If your parent or guardian cannot complete the required verification process, your practical options are:
- Work with your actual parent or legal guardian and Microsoft Support to determine whether the consent requirement can be completed for your situation:
- Visit Contact Us - Microsoft Support > Sign into your Microsoft account
- Type your problem and click Get Help > scroll down and click Contact Support
- Select category and continue > you should be added to a chat queue.
- If you don't see chat option, go through another category (e.g. Billings...)
Note: The support contact team only works at certain times, so if the last window shows that it's unavailable, try opening it again the next day. If you prefer phone support, you can leave a phone number. This way, they can call you and help you.
- If eligible, wait until you can change the account region back to its original region and then follow the requirements for that region.
- Use a Microsoft account that is configured correctly for your real country/region and age information.
I wish I could help further, but account-related issues involve personal data that cannot be processed on a community platform like Microsoft Q&A. In addition, providing consent as someone who is not your parent or guardian would not comply with Microsoft's requirements. Your best path is to reach out to Microsoft support with them.
