안녕하세요 lee님, Azure for Students 12개월 무료 혜택으로 Burstable B1MS 인스턴스(월 750시간)와 32 GB 스토리지(데이터/백업 각각 32 GB)는 무료로 제공되지만, IOPS(= Paid IO) 사용량 자체는 무료 범위에 포함되지 않습니다.

정리해보면
• Compute(B1MS 인스턴스) – 무료
• 스토리지 용량(32 GB) – 무료

• 백업 스토리지(32 GB) – 무료

• IOPS(Paid IO) – 별도 과금

• Pre-provisioned IOPS: 프로비저닝한 IOPS 수량만큼 고정 과금
• Autoscale IOPS: 실제 사용한 I/O만큼 과금

lee님께서 Auto-scale IOPS를 활성화해 두신 상태라, 사용하신 I/O(읽기/쓰기)량만큼 “Azure Database for MySQL Flexible Server Storage – LRS Paid IO” 항목으로 비용이 청구된 것입니다.

만약 IOPS 과금 부담을 줄이고 싶으시다면:

1. Autoscale IOPS 대신 Pre-provisioned IOPS를 최소값(100 IOPS)으로 설정
2. 또는 Autoscale IOPS를 비활성화(사용량 급증에 대한 대비가 필요 없을 때)
3. 테스트 환경이라면 스토리지 크기·IOPS 요구량을 최소화

이렇게 설정하시면 예측 가능한 비용으로 운영하실 수 있습니다.
