Hello Yoon Sik Woo,
Thank you for posting in the Microsoft Community.
Please accept our sincere welcome here in the Microsoft Community.
I understand that you’re encountering an issue while trying to save tab settings for Planner and To Do in Microsoft. Let’s troubleshoot this together!
Tasks supported by Planner and To Do are:
- Creating and managing tasks
- Assigning tasks to team members
- Setting due dates and reminders
- Organizing tasks into categories or projects
- Collaborating with team members on tasks
- Tracking progress and completion of tasks
Here are some potential solutions based on the information I found:
- Check Your Team Membership:
- If you’re part of a team, ensure that you have the appropriate permissions. Sometimes, being both an owner and a member can cause conflicts.
- Ask another team owner to remove you and then add you back as a member. After that, try adding the Planner tab again.
- Alternatively, if you have access to the Teams Admin center, remove yourself as an owner, give yourself member permission, create the Planner tab, and then revert back to being an owner.
- Enable Member Permissions:
- Go to your team settings and check if the option “Allow members to create, update, and remove tabs” is enabled.
- If it’s disabled, enable it, save the changes, and see if the error persists.
- Use the Web Version of Planner:
Regarding the error message "Unable to save tab settings, please try again", this may be a temporary issue with the application or a problem with your internet connection. I recommend trying again later or checking your internet connection to see if that is the issue. If the problem persists, you can contact Microsoft support for further assistance.
Hoping that would help the issue.
Best regards,
Ciarra BD.
