This time, nothing was named. As you did a Reset, there seems to be an incompatibility issue with the latest update.

Can you also share:

Setuperr.log and Setupact.log files in the %windir%\Panther folder

If that does not too give a hint, I would suggest contacting the OEM for any possible ideas.

So we got a hint that there are some files that are already existing in C:/Windows.old which could not be deleted, hence the update rolled back. Do you see a Windows.old folder in C: drive? If so, are you able to delete it?
