Hello,
Here are some ideas and thoughts that I would like to share and discuss with you.
Recommended Fixes:
1. Make sure time, region, and language match on both devices
• On both Windows and your phone, ensure:
○ Region: Same country (e.g., South Korea)
○ Language: Same preferred language
○ Time: Correct and synced (use “Set time automatically”)
2. Sign out and back into your Microsoft/Samsung accounts
• On Windows:
○ Go to **Settings** > **Accounts** → Sign out and sign back into your Microsoft account
• On your phone (in the “Link to Windows” or related app):
○ Sign out and back into the same account as used on your PC
3. Reset the Phone Link app (or Link to Windows app) on Windows
1. Go to Settings > Apps > Installed apps
2. Find “Phone Link” (or “Link to Windows”)
3. Click on it → Advanced Options → Press Terminate, then Reset
4. Check required background services in Windows
Press Win + R, type services.msc, press Enter. Ensure the following services are running:
• `Device Association Service`
• `Device Install Service`
• `Bluetooth Support Service` (if connecting via Bluetooth)
• `Connected Devices Platform Service`
Right-click each → Start (if not running)
Right-click → Properties → Set Startup type to Automatic
Regards,
Allison
