It sounds like you were working on a draft email in Outlook on your iPad, and it unexpectedly became garbled and was moved to the Deleted folder. When you tried to restore it, you weren’t given the option to move it back to Drafts only to delete it permanently. Since the restore option is not showing in iPad try it on Outlook web or Desktop:
Use Outlook Web or Desktop for Full Recovery Options:
- Sign in at Outlook.com or use the desktop app.
- Navigate to Deleted Items > Recover items deleted from this folder.
- Restore the draft if it appears there.
