Enable dynamic alphanumeric sender ID for SMS (Italy) - Enable button not available

Hey! It sounds like you're trying to enable dynamic alphanumeric sender ID for SMS in Italy, but the "Enable Alphanumeric Sender ID" button isn't available in your Azure Communication Services (ACS) resource.

Here are the key things to check based on the provided docs:

1) Make sure you're using the right type: dynamic vs preregistered

• ACS supports two types of alphanumeric sender IDs:
  • Dynamic alphanumeric sender ID: for countries/regions that don't require registration, and it can be provisioned instantly.
    • Preregistered alphanumeric sender ID: for countries/regions that require registration, and provisioning typically takes 4–5 weeks.
    • For Italy, you can use alphanumeric sender IDs, but if your UI isn't offering the dynamic enablement, you may need to use the preregistered flow instead.

2) Confirm your subscription address/eligibility

The docs note that if the enable button isn't available, it can be because your subscription address isn't supported for alphanumeric sender ID.

• Prerequisite highlights:
  • You need an active ACS resource.

     - Your Azure subscription address must be eligible for the alphanumeric sender ID capability.

What to do:

• In the ACS resource, go to Alphanumeric Sender ID blade.
• Try the preregistered tab:
  • Click Submit an application (then provisioning usually takes 4–5 weeks).Hey!
