KB5079473/KB5077181/KB5074109 cause recurring DXGI/D3D11 regression on dual-GPU Optimus-disabled configuration — Intel HD P630 + NVIDIA Quadro M1200 Maxwell
I am reporting a reproducible and recurring regression affecting Windows 11 Pro 25H2 (Build 26200.8037) on a Dell Precision 5520 with dual-GPU configuration (Intel HD Graphics P630 as display controller + NVIDIA Quadro M1200 Maxwell as renderer, Optimus disabled).
Three consecutive Cumulative Updates — KB5074109 (January 2026), KB5077181 (March 2026), and KB5079473 (March 2026) — have each introduced a DXGI/D3D11 regression that completely breaks GPU-accelerated rendering across all Adobe Creative Suite applications (Premiere Pro 2023, Photoshop 2023, Lightroom Classic). Full system restore from backup was required each time.
Additionally, KB5079473 forcibly updated the Intel HD Graphics P630 driver from 31.0.101.2137 to 31.0.101.2140 despite ExcludeWUDriversInQualityUpdate=1 being active in the registry.

Has anyone else experienced this pattern on a dual-GPU Optimus-disabled configuration? Any workaround that allows installing Cumulative Updates without triggering the DXGI regression would be greatly appreciated.
