Dear Microsoft Support Team,

I am contacting you on behalf of [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed] because we need assistance recovering access to our Microsoft 365 Business account.

We have received Microsoft billing emails relating to a Microsoft 365 Business Standard subscription, but we are unable to access the Microsoft 365 Admin Center to manage the subscription or pay the outstanding invoice.

The details we have are the following:

Company name: [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed]

Billing profile: [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed]

Organization name: [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed]

Subscription: Microsoft 365 Business Standard

Number of licenses: 1

Primary Tenant ID: [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed]

Notification email: [[Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed]@fissoresrl.com]

Domain used by the company: fissoresrl.com

We recently received a past due invoice notification with the following details:

Invoice number: [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed] Amount past due: EUR 15.54 Billing date: September 6, 2026 Due date: September 6, 2026 Status: Past due

We also found a previous Microsoft email confirming that the Microsoft 365 Business Standard subscription was due to renew on September 4, 2026, with recurring billing enabled.

The issue is that when we try to access the Microsoft 365 Admin Center or identify the organization using the domain fissoresrl.com, Microsoft says that the domain is not present in the system. We therefore cannot access the admin center, identify the administrator account, manage the subscription, or pay the outstanding invoice.

We need your assistance to identify or recover the Global Administrator / Billing Administrator account associated with this tenant, or to open the appropriate account recovery procedure.

We can provide any company documentation required to verify ownership of [Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed] and of the Microsoft 365 subscription.

Please let us know how we should proceed.

Kind regards,

[Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed]

Disclaimer: Although this site is hosted on the Italian-language (it-it) site, your question was submitted in English. Hello,

For security, please do not post invoices, company documents, payment information, support case numbers, or other verification documents in this forum.

Microsoft Q&A is a public, user-to-user forum. Contributors here cannot access Microsoft’s tenant or billing systems, identify the administrator account, verify company ownership, or process the outstanding invoice.

The message stating that fissoresrl.com is not present does not, by itself, confirm that the Microsoft 365 tenant no longer exists. The subscription may have originally been created with an administrator username ending in onmicrosoft.com, and the billing notification address is not necessarily the administrator’s sign-in address.

1/ First, search the notification mailbox and any company email archives for the original Microsoft 365 welcome or sign-up email. Microsoft states that this email contains the user ID and sign-in URL: What is my user ID and why do I need it?

Also check with any previous employee, accountant, IT consultant, or reseller who may have created the subscription. If all subscriptions were purchased through a Microsoft partner, Microsoft advises contacting that partner for support.

2/ If you are the only administrator in your organization, you will need to contact the Microsoft Data Protection team for further assistance. Please locate the appropriate support phone number for your country or region and contact Microsoft Support so the frontline team can raise a service request on your behalf: Please try to find the related hotline number to call the frontline and let them raise a ticket for you: Customer service phone numbers - Microsoft Support

Here are some tips and an example of a prompt to help you navigate the IVR more effectively:

(When you call the support number, you may hear an introduction of about 30 seconds such as "you can visit the link...". You can ignore this introduction and wait until you are presented with the options. Then press "1" as a business email user, and again "1" for technical help)

In some regions you may initially interact with an automated system, so here is an example of how you can answer the prompts to reach the right team more quickly:

    • What kind of problem are you experiencing?
    • Answer: Authenticator
    • What products do you use?
    • Answer: Office 365 for business
    • Is this for an education or company account?
    • Answer: For companies
    • Are you an administrator?
    • Answer: Yes
    • Are there any other administrators in your organization?
    • Answer: No. I am the only admin in my tenant
    • Do you need a... Service request?
    • Answer: Yes. I need to create a ticket. Please send me direct to the Data Protection Teams.

3/ If you are unable to reach support via the phone numbers, there is a workaround you might consider: You can register for a new Microsoft 365 tenant by signing up for a trial subscription here: Microsoft 365 Business Plans and Pricing | Microsoft 365

Once the new tenant is created, you can access the admin center and submit a support ticket from there, requesting to speak with the Data Protection Team on behalf of your original tenant.

    Important notes:

    • This new trial tenant will not give you access to any of the data or settings in your original locked tenant. It is solely a temporary means to contact Microsoft support.
    • The resolution time might be longer as you are contacting support from a different tenant.
    • Remember to cancel the trial subscription for the new tenant once your issue with the original account is resolved to avoid any unintended charges.

I hope the information provided helps guide you in the right direction. Although I’m unable to take direct action, I sincerely hope that the steps and recommendations I’ve shared can support you through the process.
