Okay, that's good. Keep reporting, it does reach them. They rarely reply individually, but feedback is logged and grouped internally.
While waiting for an actual fix, try this:
Go to Settings → View all Outlook settings → Calendar → Shared calendars → Publish a calendar → Download .ICS.
Open the downloaded .ics file in Notepad and check for the name of the problematic series.
Delete all calendar data from Outlook Web:
+ Add calendar → Create new blank calendar)..ics file into this new calendar manually. This rebuilds your calendar from scratch and permanently eliminates corrupted recurrence chains.
Let’s use only what you already have. So disregard the Desktop Outlook.
In Outlook Web:
Go to Outlook.live.com/calendar.
Open browser Settings → Privacy → Clear browsing data (select Cookies and cached files).
Log back in.
Try deleting the recurring events again.
Wait ~1 minute before changing months.
Thanks for sharing the details! You have more control when deleting this using the desktop outlook app. Do you have that installed? If yes,
Open Outlook Desktop → Calendar.
Switch to List view:
Sort by Subject or Start date.
Select all duplicates or the series → Shift + Delete (permanent delete).
Empty the Deleted Items folder (Shift + Delete) and restart Outlook.
See if this helps. If you need further assistance just let me know.
Best regards,
Kimberly
