ניהול בעיות והגדרות של הפעלת מדיה ב-Microsoft Edge ב-Windows 11

When trying to play H265 via WebRTC it fails to start.
It looks like the same WebRTC H265 stream will work on Chrome browser but will not work on Edge Browser.
Not sure if it is related to one of the recent updates, but it is broken now.
I checked on both MacOS and Windows 11 (with the installed codecs). but it doesn't work on both.
I understood from previous releases that it was supported, has anything changed? Did you have any official note on that?
Do you intend to support it in the future?
Thank you

Hi!
Welcome to the Microsoft Q&A forum.
Based on current documentation and responses from the Edge team, this is expected behavior, not a configuration problem on your systems. Although Microsoft Edge release notes briefly mentioned WebRTC H.265 (HEVC) support around Edge 136, that reference was later removed.
You can have a look on a specific conversation found here:

As for your question if it will be supported or not. There is no public information released or commitment for enabling WebRTC H.265 in Microsoft Edge. A feedback should be submitted through the Edge feedback channels if this capability is important for your applications.
