Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.
I understand that you are having audio issues when headphones are connected to your computer.
- May I please know the make and model of your headphones?
- It is plugged in via 3.5mm audio jack or through USB port?
Meanwhile, make sure your headphones are being recognized and set at the default audio output device.
- Click Windows + R key, type mmsys.cpl and click ok
- See if your headphones are being detected and selected as the default audio output device.
If your headphones are not recognized, reinstall the audio drivers from the device manager.
- Open the Device Manager.
- Expand the arrow next to Sound, video and game controllers.
- Right-click your default audio output device (Realtek R), select uninstall device, select the attempt to remove the driver software for this device check box and click uninstall.
- Once uninstalled, restart your computer.
- Plug in your headphones and test the audio output
