Method 1:
- Head over to this link

- Login with your account and check that you are in Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety
- Ensure that "You can join multiplayer games" is set to allow and then click on Submit
- After doing the above, launch again the game and try to play multiplayer

Method 2:
- Go to Xbox.com
- At the top right of the page, login first and then click on your profile and click on Xbox profile and then this will bring you to a new page and then click on Privacy settings
- This will now bring you to the Privacy & online safety page, click on Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety
- Look/search for "You can join multiplayer games" is set to allow and then click on Submit and this should be applicable to both the console and Windows since this is under your Microsoft account
