Microsoft’s Phone Link (previously “Your Phone”), paired with the Link to Windows app on Android, is now the supported replacement to connect Galaxy phones to Windows 10 or 11 PCs .
Switch to Microsoft Phone Link + Link to Windows
On your PC (Windows 10 or 11): Open the Microsoft Store and install or update the Phone Link app.
On your Galaxy A22: Go to Settings > Connected Devices > Link to Windows (or install the Link to Windows app from Galaxy Store / Google Play).
Pair your phone and PC by scanning the QR code and granting all requested permissions (Contacts, SMS, Phone, Storage).
The PC must run at least Windows 10 May 2019 Update.
Your phone should be on Android 8 or newer, ideally Android 10+. Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi, or allow the phone to use mobile data if local network access isn't possible.
