Subscription disabled by AUP audit — cannot open a support request (billing account inactive, no pending invoices)

My Azure subscription was disabled after an Acceptable Use Policy audit. I cannot open a billing/subscription support request: the billing account shows as "inactive", Help + Support loops back to the portal or shows no contact option, and support.microsoft.com redirects me to the Azure portal.

Context (no personal data included; I can provide the subscription ID and account details to Microsoft staff privately):

  • Subscription type: pay-as-you-go under a Microsoft Customer Agreement
  • Workload: one Azure OpenAI resource in Sweden Central with three model deployments (gpt-4o, gpt-5.6-luna, gpt-4o-mini)
  • Cost Management > Invoices is empty: no pending invoice and no amount due
  • Card charges attempted on 18–19 October were rejected for insufficient funds; the card now has funds and can be re-verified or charged at any time
  • The account had 200 USD in Azure credits and usage was minimal, development testing only
  • The suspension is from the AUP audit, not from non-payment; the "inactive billing account" state appears to be a consequence of it

Requests:

  1. The specific reason for the audit (resource, activity or pattern detected).
  2. Reactivation of the subscription, since there is no outstanding balance.
  3. Written confirmation that data will not be deleted on 20 November 2026 while the case is under review.
  4. Any additional verification required, which I can provide immediately.

Because of the portal loop I cannot create a support request myself. Could a moderator escalate this to Azure billing/subscription support, or tell me the correct path? I will share the subscription ID privately on request. Thank you.
