Identity validation stuck: Face Check succeeds but submission returns 504

Hello,

We cannot complete the Face Check step of our Artifact Signing public identity validation. The Face Check itself succeeds on the phone, but the final submission to Microsoft fails with HTTP 504, so the validation stays in "Action required".

• Artifact Signing account in North Europe
• Identity validation ID: d9d61e01-39c9-4eab-8d2d-361a0b7f4286 (Public, organization in Spain)
• Verified ID: AU10TIX "Government Issued ID - GLOBAL" in Microsoft Authenticator (iOS)

What happens

1. From the portal ("Complete the check here") the QR page loads correctly.
2. Authenticator scans it and the Face Check completes successfully (logs: FaceCheckStatus=success, AppIntegrityStatus=success, linked domain credentials.microsoft.com verified).
3. On "Next", PostPresentationResponseOperation returns 504 with an empty body after ~16 seconds (networking_error, retryable: false):

Earlier history

• A previous validation failed the Face Check and its link became "already used", so we deleted it and created the current one.
• During that first attempt Authenticator also returned 409 "The targeted resource in CosmosDB already exists" (2026-10-10 22:27:18 UTC, Request-ID dbab84f0-490b-4748-9473-3a7043015470, CorrelationId 0rePZGjsT12pb5hS4N6Ntg.5).

Question Could someone from the Artifact Signing team check why the presentation response for this validation returns 504, and either complete the Face Check step or tell us how to retry it without creating a new identity validation? We have no technical support plan, so we can't open a support ticket. Full Authenticator logs and subscription details can be shared privately.
