Azure sponsorship

Hi everyone,

I'm hoping someone can help me understand my Azure account configuration.

My account shows what appear to be two different subscriptions/benefits:

  1. Azure Subscription 1 (Microsoft Azure Plan)
  2. Azure Sponsorship with $5,000 Azure credits

From what I can see:

  • Azure Subscription 1 is active.
  • My Azure Sponsorship credits are visible.
  • Billing is configured.
  • I can deploy Azure resources.

My questions are:

  1. What is the relationship between Azure Subscription 1 and the Azure Sponsorship?
  2. Should the Azure Sponsorship create a separate subscription, or should it be attached to Azure Subscription 1?
  3. How can I verify that my Azure Subscription 1 is actually consuming the Azure Sponsorship credits?
  4. Is there a way to see whether Azure Subscription 1 is linked to the Azure Sponsorship on the backend?
  5. If they are not linked correctly, what is the proper process to associate them?

I'm trying to determine whether these represent two separate subscriptions or whether the Sponsorship is simply the funding source for Azure Subscription 1.

Any guidance from someone familiar with Azure Sponsorships would be greatly appreciated.

    Hola

Bienvenido a la comunidad Microsoft Azure.

Buenas noches.
