    Hi there,

    Thanks for your reply.

According to your provided screenshots, it seems like there is a conflict between the university account's license and the version of Office you are using - Microsoft Office LTSC Professional Plus 2021.

Regarding on your Office apps, you might need to contact the original seller (who provided you the Product key) as this product was failed to validate itself from the server.

Additionally, your Windows is also having issue with its activation state, you might need to fix it first as it could affect Office apps as well.

Please try to access this link and review your given license from your university: https://portal.office.com/Account#subscriptions and provide me the screenshot if possible.

To summarize this, the Office license you are having on your computer is having issue with the validation, you might need to contact back the original reseller who provided you this license. Fixing Windows Activation could possibly fix the Office Product Activation as well.

    Sincerely,

Austin H - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your quick response.

May I know if you have checked your own license? Could you provide me a screenshot of which license are you using?

Please also provide the screenshot of the "Product activation error" as well. This allows me to give you detailed suggestion.

    Sincerely,

Austin H - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist

    Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Community Support.

According to the issue, may I know which license of Microsoft 365 Education that you are using?

If you are using Microsoft 365 A1, it's likely that you could only access to Office apps via Online version through web browsers.

Once you attempt to sign in to your computer with your credential, that school account's identity will be applied to all Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Please go to https://office.com/ and sign in with your account - then click on this link: https://portal.office.com/Account#subscriptions and double-check again your license given by your university.

If you are using Microsoft 365 A3 or A5, then please open Word or Excel, click on the icon at top right of your screen and make sure that you are signing in with your university account. It should look like this.

I am looking forward to your reply.

    Sincerely,

Austin H - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
