Un servicio de un extremo a otro totalmente administrado para firmar digitalmente código, documentos y aplicaciones. (anteriormente Firma de confianza)
Hi Fabian,
What you’re seeing matches the documented flow for organization validation, so I’d keep the request as it is. Here are your three questions:
1. Is this the expected stage? Yes. In the organization flow, once the representative’s ID verification is done, the status goes back to In Progress while the validation team reviews the organization itself. The documented processing time is 1–20 business days. Counting from October 14, you’re at about 7 business days, so you’re still well within that window.
2. Is a separate step needed to present the Verified ID? No. Presenting the credential is the last part of the same flow you completed: you scan the “Present your Verified ID” QR code in Authenticator and tap Share. If the browser then showed Verification Successful and the status went from Action Required back to In Progress, the credential was received.
One thing worth checking: click the validation request name to open its details pane, instead of looking only at the list view. Some users found a “Please complete your email verification” message only there. That link is sent to the primary email, expires after 7 days, and can’t be resent on the same request. If you see that message, check spam and quarantine for the email.
3. Keep it or recreate it? Keep it. The Artifact Signing FAQ says that creating additional requests for the same entity while one is in progress doesn’t help, and that requests can’t be expedited. Recreating is only needed if the email verification link expired or the validation fails.
If the status hasn’t changed after 20 business days (around mid-November), post an update here. A moderator can then ask for the validation request ID privately, so please don’t post it publicly.
Let me know if the details pane shows anything other than In Progress.
A few notes before you post:
- AI disclosure. The Q&A AI usage policy requires naming the AI service whenever AI generated all or part of an answer. You can either add a line such as “Drafted with help from Claude and reviewed against the Microsoft Learn docs,” or rewrite the text in your own words.
- No request to accept the answer. I left it out on purpose. The answer doesn’t resolve his problem by itself, since he still has to wait for the review. If the status changes later, you can use the program’s phrasing then: “If my response resolved your issue…”
- Business days. The ~7 count runs October 15–23, excluding weekends. Spain may have a regional holiday in that period, so I wrote “about” and “around mid-November” instead of exact dates.
